Prostate
The p-spot for short, this small organ can be an immense source of pleasure
The prostate may not be the first thing that comes to mind when talking about sexual pleasure. This small, walnut sized organ's primary function is to contribute a significant portion of fluid to semen. This fluid protects and nourishes the sperm cells contained within. When triggered, contractions of the prostate's muscles propel (ejaculate) the mixture of sperm cells, prostatic fluid, and seminal vesicle fluid into the urethra and out of the body.

That is the prostate gland's purpose in reproduction, but it can also contribute to pleasure and sexual response. When massaged, or pressed on, it can contribute to more heightened sexual sensations and even more intense orgasms. The trick with the prostate is its location. It is just below the bladder, surrounding the urethra, and most directly stimulated through the rectum. This can make it challenging to reach without help, be it with a partner or a toy.
