Shipping, Delivery, & Pickup info

SHIPPING:

Shipping methods (United States):  We currently offer shipping through US Postal Service (USPS) and UPS.  For eligible Free Shipping orders we ship via USPS Priority Mail (unless otherwise specified in product description).

International:  We ship via US Postal Service (transferred to receiving country's own Postal Service).  Duties, tariffs, or additional fees may be due at time of customer receipt or pick-up.  Orders may be delayed at customs for an undetermined period of time for possible inspection.  Per requirements, we must disclose what the product is via a customs declaration.  The descriptions are often a combination of a code and a concise yet generic description that attempts to maintain a minimum level of discretion.

Packaging:  We ship all orders in plain brown cardboard boxes or plain white padded envelopes.  Our decorative "L" logo sticker is added to all packages unless otherwise asked to leave off.  We carefully pack every order to ensure minimal movement and shipping damage.

Fulfillment:  We pack and ship fast.  During store business hours, most shipping orders are assembled, packed, and dropped at the carrier drop-off location within an hour.  When and how the carrier picks up, transits, and delivers the order is controlled by the carrier.  Lost, damaged or incorrectly delivered packages are the responsibility of the carrier and the best recourse is to file a claim with the carrier.  While For the Love of It is not liable for delivery issues, we will help facilitate correcting in any way we can.

LOCAL DELIVERY:

When we deliver:  We deliver to eligible addresses Monday through Friday.  All orders received before 2:00pm during those days will be delivered same day before 5:00pm.  Any order received after that time will be delivered the following available delivery day. 

Any order received after 2:00pm Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will be delivered Monday.  There are exceptions for major holidays, extreme weather, or other uncontrollable interferences.

PICK-UP:

Orders are available for pick-up any time the physical store is open for business.  An automatic 30 minute lead time is attached to give staff time to assemble the order and ready it for pick-up.  In most cases, pick-up orders are ready within 10-15 minutes.  The only exception is at opening.  Any orders received outside of business hours are only available a half hour past the opening time (ex:  open at 10:00am, first pick-up slot is 10:30)

Notification:  An email will be sent to the purchasing email notifying the order is available for pick-up.

Orders are typically processed and available for pick up within 30 minutes. Completed orders will be kept at the front desk.

  • Orders can be picked up during physical store hours only

  • Proof of purchase or ID may be required to receive your order

  • Orders not picked up within 7 days of purchase will be refunded and returned to stock (call to arrange for special circumstances beyond the pick up limit)

  • 10 cent bag charge added in compliance with Washington State regulations

Packaging:  All pick-up orders are placed in plain brown paper bags (standard store bags).
